David Ongaro, listed in Law and Politics magazine as a “Northern California Super Lawyer,” is a seasoned trial attorney with nearly 20 years of experience handling complex litigation matters. He specializes in complex litigation and his reputation as a top-notch trial attorney has often led to his retention on the courtroom steps to try cases of all stripes, including product liability, personal injury, and wrongful death.

On the employment front, Mr. Ongaro has formulated unique strategies to successfully combat the wave of wage and hour class action lawsuits crippling many corporations, and has also handled hundreds of claims involving allegations of gender, race, national origin, religious, disability, sexual orientation, and age discrimination.

Mr. Ongaro has prosecuted and defended multi-million dollar consumer class action cases across the country.

Mr. Ongaro is the former editor of the California Employment Law Letter (M. Lee Smith Publishers & Printers). He represents clients in a wide range of industries including airline, banking, construction, health care, retail, software and hardware, telecommunications, temporary labor, and trucking.

Prior to forming Ongaro Burtt & Louderback LLP, David Ongaro was a partner at Perkins Coie LLP, a national general practice firm based in the Pacific Northwest. Prior to that he was a partner at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis LLP and an associate at Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon in San Francisco.
